Dr Mark Baldock is a Medical Doctor and a Registered Pharmacist. Mark currently lives in Hobart, Tasmania where he works as a medical doctor and assists with the management of his pharmacy business Health Focus Pharmacies and related companies. He owned and managed his first pharmacy at the age of twenty-three, has been buying, selling and establishing pharmacy businesses in Australia for the past 26 years and is extremely experienced and knowledgeable about the Australian pharmacy industry. He currently owns four community pharmacies and has owned over 20 community pharmacies during his pharmacy and business career.

Mark is a major shareholder in a General Practice Medical clinic in Queensland Australia, and the majority shareholder and co-founder of Health Focus Products Australia (HFPA). HFPA is a pharmaceutical company that specialises in wound healing treatments and the research and development of products for the health care market. Mark also has extensive experience in the marketing and distribution of pharmaceutical products within Australia.

At the age of 27, Mark established the first pharmaceutical services to the Indian Ocean Territories, a remote and logistically difficult project, for the Australian Government. The service continues after more than 20 years, and remains one of the most isolated and challenging pharmacy management scenarios in Australia.

Mark obtained a highly competitive post graduate position at the prestigious Flinders University Medical School in 2004, was runner up and highly commended Intern of the year at the Royal Hobart Hospital in 2009 and was the winner of the Tasmania Physician Medical research prize in 2011

Mark has extensive experience as a senior executive, having been a board member of three Health industry related companies. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Health Focus Pharmacies, Health Focus Medical and Health Focus Products and the major shareholder in all these companies. Mark has an interest and many years of experience in treating elderly patients.
